Description
This course focuses upon an examination of the theory and the practice of teaching children through art and the importance of art in education. Candidates are engaged in exploring cultural diversity by utilizing a discipline-based approach to art education. Included also are the areas of art production, art history, art criticism, and aesthetics. Prerequisite: Class rank of Junior and admitted to the Teacher Education Program
