This course serves as a foundation for students pursuing a major in interdisciplinary studies. It is designed to provide the student with abroad general introduction to the field. Attention is given to the philosophy, research, practices, process, and theories that undergrid the field of interdisciplinary studies. In addition, some of the major characteristics of an interdisciplinarian are reviewed and discussed
