    Description

    An introductory study of heredity in plants and animals including man and the biological and social implications. Basic principles include: gene linkage and chromosome mapping; DNA and it role in evolution; and genetic engineering. Laboratory exercises involve crosses with drosophila, observation and explanations of results. Prerequisites: BIO 141 and BIO 142
