    Description

    An introduction of software engineering as a discipline. Studies include stages of of software life cycle, comparison of development models, effort and cost estimation, and comparison of structured and object-oriented, analysis and design methods. Discussions include verification, quality assurance, sofware reliability, testing methods, maintenance, documentation, project managment and team structrure, metrics and available tools. Prequisite: CMP 222
