Traditional candidates for admission must be graduates of an accredited high school or possess a GED certificate. Students must present a high school record of 20 or more units (grades 9-12 and a high school GPA of 2.0 or higher). To be considered for admission, students must submit the following documents:

It is recommended that applicants take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) and have the scores submitted to the Voorhees College Office of Admissions.

Traditional Transfer students are required to submit the following to the Office of Admissions:
  • An application for admission.
  • An official transcript from each post-secondary school attended.
  • A completed Confidential Report from each post-secondary school attended.
  • Transfer students with less than 30 semester hours of college credit must submit high school records with rank in class and grade point average. Transfer credits will be awarded for comparable work done at an accredited institution in which the student has earned at least a “C" grade. Transfer students must be in good standing at their previous institutions.
  • Self-reported medical form
  • $25 application fee (payable by cashier’s check, money order or credit card)
Adult Education students are required to submit the following to the Office of Adult Education:
  • Completion of an application form
  • Payment of the non‑refundable $25.00 application fee.
  • Official Transcript (s) showing completion of 50 or more college level semester hours of transferable credits from an accredited Post Secondary institution.
  • GPA of 2.0 (4.0 scale) on a prior academic work.  

 *Conditional admission for Adult Education students not meeting all criteria for full admission is determined by the College’s Matriculation Committee.
